moja WARSZAWA

Personal project. This poster is a tribute to the special place for my – my city, Warsaw. I was born here, I grew up here and have a lot of memories of places, people who has passed away, my family who lived here for generations, fought for this city in a losing battle. If I close my eyes I can see the front of Kino Moskwa, where I have seen my first movie in the cinema – Never ending Story. I can feel the taste the mushroom roll from my childhood and the ice cream from Zielona Budka. They don’t taste the same anymore. Our family walks in Łazienki during the autumn. Each letter is devoted to one of these places. The poster was prepared for the exhibition that I curated – 5 + 5. I invited five woman and 5 man designers to face the legend of Warsaw. They were exhibited in Warsaw.
